I do my best to avoid evil. I try not to boast or spread lies. I am definitely not bloodthirsty! After all, I am a global worker!
But, no matter how many people I share the Gospel with, I still sin.
No matter how many people I study the Bible with, I still sin.
No matter how many people I pray with, I still sin.
As reliable as the sun rising and setting each day is the fact that I am sure to sin.
Psalm 5 tells me in strong words that God does not delight in sin of any kind. It tells me he does not delight in evil, boasting, or lying.
Yet, Psalm 5 tells me more.
But I, through the abundance of your steadfast love, will enter your house. I will bow down toward your holy temple in the fear of you. Psalm 5:7
No matter how many people I share the Gospel with, God still loves.
No matter how many people I study the Bible with, God still loves.
No matter how many people I pray with, God still loves.
As reliable as the sun rising and setting each day is the fact that God is sure to love.
Dear friend, God’s love for you is reliable, steadfast, and abundant! Through His love, He welcomes us into His very presence when we come with a repentant heart that trusts in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Let’s enter His house—the door is opened wide.
What has helped you from having a judging or critical attitude toward those you live and work with?
Being gracious and patient with my co-workers is not always easy. When I find myself thinking thoughts that are critical or judgmental, the Lord will often bring a verse to mind that reminds me of His grace and patience for me. This reality check often prompts me to pray for the Lord to help me curb my thoughts and words.
