Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, trustworthy, and authoritative Word of God in all matters of faith and practice. 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 119:11, 160

We believe there is one God, the sovereign Creator and Sustainer of all things, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19; Ephesians 4:4-6; Genesis 1:1-3; Isiah 44:6-8; John 1:1-4; Deuteronomy 6:4

We believe in the full deity and humanity of Jesus Christ, who lived as a perfect example, who atoned for the sins of the world at the cross, who was bodily raised from the dead and ascended as both Lord and Savior, and who will return in power and glory. John 1:1, 14; Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 4:15; Hebrews 2:17; Acts 2:24, 32: Romans 14:9

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Trinity, equal with God the Father and God the Son; He indwells every believer from the moment of salvation and empowers the Christian for a life that is honoring to God. John 16:7; 1 Corinthians 6:19‐20; Galatians 5:22‐23; Matthew 28:18‐20

We believe in the justification, by God’s grace, of all who repent, accept God’s gift of salvation, and put their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation. Ephesians 2:8‐10; John 3:16‐17; Romans 4:4‐5

We believe people were created to exist forever. We will be resurrected to exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation in heaven. John. 3:16; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15, 21:1; Isaiah 65:17, 66:22; 2 Peter 3:13;

We believe that each person has been created in the image of God. As image-bearers of God, all of humanity has intrinsic worth and dignity reflecting the image they bear. Genesis 1:26

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, with equality across racial, gender, cultural and socio-economic differences. John 17:20-23; Revelation 5:9

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
Hebrews 10:24-25
