How do we use it?
We use MailChimp for sending email newsletters, retreat updates, financial asks and various marketing materials.
Status: Good Standing
In 2016, we restructured all our emailing lists due to a previous fragmented legacy system that was causing problems for our subscribers. They can now easily opt-in and opt-out of lists and groups without any hassle and manage their subscriptions.

How do we use it?
We use Salesforce as our main donor database and retreat application app for both attendees and volunteers. If you apply as an attendee or volunteer for our retreats, you will be added to our Salesforce. We also add our financial and prayer partners in our Salesforce databases.
Status: Work In Progress
We are always in a process of cleaning our databases. Being in ministry for more than few decades, we have large amount of data that needs constant updates.

Intercom
How do we use it?
We use Intercom to provide live chat and video support for our online visitors and users. We use intercom to communicate with our App users (volunteers and donors), and display recent updates when they log in. Users and visitors get an email notification if they initated a support conversation with us while we were away.
Status: Good Standing
Intercom provides REST API to sycn our user and visitor information with MailChimp and Salesforce. When people opt-out of Intercom, they are automatically opt-out of our MailChimp and also noted in Salesforce.

Please Note: All our systems sync with one another through API that each services provide. The idea is that when you opt-out of one system, it will opt you out of all the systems. While we follow industry standards and best practices, systems are never perfect. If you have any concerns or questions about your data, please contact us. We answer within one business day in most cases.
